At Jenna Walsh Photography, we offer a selection of backdrops that are readily available in the Studio, or if you prefer, we can collaborate together to design and create a backdrop that perfectly aligns with your specific wants and dreams for your baby’s first birthday cake smash celebration! If you don’t find the perfect match, please allow yourself at least 4-5 weeks before you’ll NEED the photographs. This timeline ensures that there is ample time to order the backdrop, complete the session beautifully, and have the gallery delivered to you without any rush.

These photoshoots can take place in our welcoming studio, amidst the beauty of the outdoors, or even with a creative themed backdrop. During your photo session, we recommend that you bring one or two outfits, as we will be taking formal photos featuring just your baby posed beautifully before the exciting cake smashing event! It’s important to keep in mind that some families choose to incorporate a variety of treats for the celebration, such as cake, donuts, pie, or even fresh fruit, and some also like to add a delightful milk bath to make the experience even more memorable.
